Favourite Disney rides - Radiator Springs Cars Ride

I am located in the back row, far left! They take a picture of you on the ride, which you can view on the exit out.

Continuing on with the theme of favourite rides, and in no particular order (as they are all favourites), I thought this week I would talk about the Radiator Springs Car ride at California Adventure Park. If you have been to California Adventure Park - a trip down memory lane awaits you below. Feel free to agree/disagree in comments.

Ride: Radiator Springs Racers
Location: Cars Land (Disney California Adventure)

This ride is fantastic and travels very very fast. You enter the first section with animatronic vehicles from the Cars movie. You are then sent to get your car 'ready for racing' either through Luigi's Casa Della Tires or Ramone's House of Body Art. You then race another vehicle next to yours, and the ride is extremely fast.

This ride had incredibly long lines, and the Fast Passes were gone by lunch time (and if you have another popular Fast Pass at California Adventure Park, it is impossible to do both in California Adventure Park as they run out of Fast Passes by midday). We got around this by using the single rider line – which meant a 20 minute wait. The ride takes a photo of you mid race which is fun to see at the end.

Daugher A.J refused to ride this ride. She was only 7 years old at the time, and I think she was a bit put off by the fast rides, but we really think she should have given it a go at least once, as it was so much fun. We saw other kids in the single riders line, and they loved it. I rode it once (gosh it was fast) and D.H went on this three times in total, including at night time, which apparently was terrific.

By the way, this area at night time is beautiful. The landscape is lit up really nicely.

Radiator Springs at Night, is quite beautiful
